Playtime

Oil paint on canvas. This painting represents the whimsicality and perspectives of childplay. It is similar to what I liked to draw as a kid, uses the same colors, and shows a maze. The maze is in black and the rush of colors throughout it are like a child’s many attempts to solve it. If looked at from afar, the lines make up random things like a car or a frog. It essentially works like an illusion.
